Hands down the best Ethiopian food in the city. The doro wot had real depth and the injera was fresh and soft. We cleaned the whole platter.

Everything is cooked to order — wots simmered low with house berbere, tibs seared to sizzling, and injera torn by hand to scoop it all up. Vegan and vegetarian plates are a specialty.

The veggie combo is huge and every scoop tastes different — the gomen and misir were my favorites. Warm, welcoming staff and great music, too.
The tibs came out sizzling and the kitfo was perfect. Great vibe, great bar, and they take their time to get the food right. We'll be back.
